Jamie Chestney will make it a hat-trick of Commonwealth Games alongside his wife Natalie Chestney in Birmingham.
The bowls super couple live in Devon and he will be looking for his third medal after picking up silver at Glasgow 2014 and collecting bronze on the Gold Coast in 2018 in the men’s fours.
Chestney loves to tuck into a curry, his favourite food, and will hope to have something memorable to takeaway from the Games.
He enjoys heading to Sandy Park to watch rugby union’s Exeter Chiefs and will be hoping to match the Devonian side’s success on the pitch when he takes to the lawn this summer, as he did when he won the Open Pairs title at the 2021 World Indoor Bowls Championships.
