Lawn bowler David Bolt made his Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast.

The bowler from Sunderland joined the other 16 athletes in Team England’s lawn bowls squad to compete at Broadbeach Bowls club and won a bronze medal in the men's fours.

It was a hugely successful campaign at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park and some thrilling games saw Team England leave the plush lawn with six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze.
