Be part of Team England

Soon we will be recruiting Team England's volunteer team at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria 2026 next summer. The team behind the team are absolutely crucial in creating the right performance environment to ensure Team England athletes can compete at their best and inspire the nation.

The roles vary across all our the departments from operations, to medical, communications to VIP stakeholder programme.

We have a firm commitment to making sport more inclusive and we know that sports administration has an underrepresentation of those from minority ethnic backgrounds and people with disabilities. So we strongly encourage you to apply when applications open if you consider yourself to be currently underrepresented in this space.

We would like you to meet some of our former volunteers...

Rakhee Tailor

Rakhee's day job was working for British Airways, but when she got the opportunity to do something different and volunteer for Team England she felt like it was too good to miss!

Dr. Abosede "GB" Ajayi

Dr. GB has volunteered with Team England at numerous Commonwealth and Commonwealth Youth Games. She describes the unique experience of volunteering as ‘unparalleled’ and has a special tip for anyone thinking of applying…

Jonny Riall

Jonny volunteered for Team England almost 20 years ago at the last home Commonwealth Games in Manchester when he was just out of school! He says that volunteering at the Games paved the way for his career in sport and he is now our triathlon Team Leader for Birmingham 2022.
