Lawn bowler Katherine Rednall made her Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast.

The bowler from Ipswich, Suffolk, will join the other 16 athletes in Team England’s lawn bowls squad to compete at Broadbeach Bowls club in April. She won a bronze medal in the women's triples.

Katherine will follow in the footsteps of her father John who represented England at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, Canada.

It was a hugely successful campaign at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park and some thrilling games saw Team England leave the plush lawn with six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze.
