Lawn bowler Robert Paxton made his Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast.
The bowler from Taunton, Somerset, joined the other 16 athletes in Team England’s lawn bowls squad to compete at Broadbeach Bowls club and won a bronze medal in the men's singles.
Paxton is no stranger to success overseas having skipped England to the gold medal in the World Triples Championship in November 2016 in New Zealand.
