At just 17, Freya Kemp is the youngest member of the cricket squad at this summer's Games.

Despite her youth, the all-rounder has already made waves for Southern Vipers, for whom she averages 49 with the bat and 16.40 with the ball.

Kemp made her Sussex debut aged 14 and has since gone from strength to strength, being selected by the Southern Brave in The Hundred.

Her form brought a recent call-up to England A against South Africa, and the left-armer will hope to take her momentum with her to Birmingham.

Cricket is one of the quintessential English sports, which was first included in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
