Katherine Brunt may have recently retired from Test cricket but her hunger for success is still there as she looks to continue her success in ODIs and T20s.

Since making her England debut as a teenager back in 2004 Brunt has been a stalwart of the international side, the peak of her career being two World Cup triumphs in 2009 and 2017.

The bowler is a four-time ECB Cricketer of the Year and is still considered one of the best seamers in the world, taking a starring role with Trent Rockets in The Hundred this summer alongside her Commonwealth Games appearance.

One-half of England’s cricketing super-couple alongside Nat Sciver - who she married earlier this summer - Brunt will be going for gold as women's cricket makes its Games debut.

Cricket
Cricket is one of the quintessential English sports, which was first included in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
