Katherine Sciver- Brunt retired from cricket in 2023 as a legend of the game.
Since making her England debut as a teenager back in 2004 Brunt was a stalwart of the international side, the peak of her career being a double World Cup triumph in 2009 and winning back the Cricket World Cup on home soil in 2017.
The bowler was a four-time ECB Cricketer of the Year and was still considered one of the best seamers in the world right up to her retirement aged 38.
Sciver-Brunt took five wickets for Team England at Birmingham 2022, also scoring 38 not out as her lower order hitting helped the hosts to a group-stage victory over South Africa.
One half of England’s cricketing super-couple alongside Nat Sciver - who she married just before Birmingham 2022 - Sciver-Brunt added further history to her illustrious career as she became part of women's cricket debut in the Games.
