Having missed out on the previous Commonwealth Games through concussion, Shona McCallin helped make Birmingham 2022 a fruitful one for Team England as she helped England women claim hockey gold.
The midfielder was introduced to hockey at the age of six by her mother and made it her sole focus at 14 having excelled in multiple sports throughout childhood.
