Shooting

Shooting at the Commonwealth Games consists of pistol, rifle, full bore rifle and shotgun events. Each of those weapons also has a number of disciplines within it.

Team England competed in 19 events at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. Former BBC Young Sport Personality of the Year Amber Hill, and Olympic medallists Ed Ling and Steve Scott were part of the team on the Gold Coast.

Team England placed third on the medal tale in Australia winning two gold, two silver and four bronze medals totalling eight.

Events are split between men and women except for the Queens Prize Pairs and Individual events which have been contested at every single Commonwealth Games since the Games came into existence in 1930.
