Yasmin Harper bounced back from Commonwealth disappointment in style, winning silver at the 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka.

That medal in the 3m springboard synchro qualified Harper for the 2024 Olympic Games.

In Birmingham, she finished sixth and seventh respectively in the 3m and 1m springboard.

The City of Sheffield diver earned two British titles earlier this year when the Steel City played host to the national championships.

Harper defended her women’s 1m springboard title, beating Olympian Grace Reid to gold, securing the victory by 0.35 points.

She also claimed the 3m springboard crown to qualify for a maiden World Championships, again ahead of Scotland’s Reid with the two set to continue their battle this summer at Birmingham 2022.

Diving
