The Winchester born scrum half made his debut for Premiership rugby side Bath in 2015 before going onto captain the team's sevens squad in 2017.

The 26-year-old would go onto join RFU Championship side Jersey Reds a year later ahead of a short stint away from the field with life sciences recruitment company BioTalent, where he joined the engineering division.

Homer made his England Sevens World Series debut in Malaga, where he helped the team secure a bronze medal, at the beginning of the year after featuring for the nation’s union teams at both under-18 and under-20 level.

Exactly five years senior to England teammate Blake Boyland, Homer is the younger brother of former London Irish fullback, Tom Homer.
