Sophie Thornhill MBE appeared at her second Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. She won two gold medals in the B&VI 1000m time trial and the B&VI sprint setting two world records in the process.

She made her Team England debut at Glasgow 2014 where she won two gold medals with her pilot, Helen Scott.

The Olympic champion is coached by Jon Norfolk and rides for the Great Britain Cycling Team.
