Kyle Kothari has recently combined diving training with a professional finance career at J.P Morgan.
The 10m platform specialist has counted the cost of injuries over the years, taking two years to recover from nerve damage in his shoulder suffered in 2015.
His bid to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics was also disrupted by a ruptured achilles tendon.
Kothari, who won the British 10m synchro title alongside Olympic champion Matty Lee back in 2018, will hope for a smooth run into the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
