Jade Lally won discus silver at her fourth Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The 36-year-old swapped jumping for throwing and never looked back. She started out as a high jumper but made the switch after excelling with the discus from her first try.
Since then, Lally has been crowned British champion seven times, won Commonwealth bronze in 2014 and has now added the silver to her collection.
Despite being a veteran at the Games, Lally had a new experience in 2022, as her daughter Nyla was able to watch on after Lally took time away to become a mum in 2019.
