Rugby sevens star Emma Uren is half-Swedish and her family’s business is selling clogs.
The business was set up by her Swedish mother Lotta, who worked for Warner Music while in Stockholm and was a familiar face to Madonna and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
A talented swimmer through her teens, coached by Sydney Olympian Ed Sinclair, a bout of glandular fever ultimately hampered her ability to compete in the pool and she turned her full attention to rugby instead.
Having undergone major hamstring surgery in early 2020, the former Saracens star helped Team GB finish fourth at the Tokyo Olympics.
