Emily Martin secured bronze at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games at the age of just 21 alongside Robyn Birch in the women's 10m synchronised platform.

As a toddler, Martin was such a strong swimmer that she progressed rapidly to the main pool even though she couldn’t stand on the bottom.

Her love of water and gymnastics made diving a natural progression and she has been a hit on the British team.

Martin claimed synchro 10m platform gold alongside Andrea Spendolini-Siriex at the European Junior Championships and repeated in the same event at the FINA Grand Prix in Mission Viejo.
