Eden Cheng heads to the Commonwealth Games in the form of her life.

In May, the Tokyo Olympian edged out synchro partner Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix to win her first individual national 10m platform title, by a margin of 0.25 points.

It was one of the highlights of a career that has blossomed under the watchful eye of Chinese coach Chen Lin, who was crowned women’s 10m world champion back in 1986.

Inspired to dive by London 2012, Cheng has four European medals to her name and will hope to add to her collection in Birmingham.

Diving
Team England made a splash in diving with their most successful ever Commonwealth Games in the sport seeing them win six golds and 16 medals in total.
