Born in the West Country, Calum Randle began his rugby journey at Gloucester aged seven before he and his family made the move to Marseillette in the south of France when he was 13.

It was then France who he represented first in Sevens, playing in both the Rugby Europe Grand Prix Series in Lodz, and in the George leg of the World Rugby Sevens series.

Playing his club rugby for Montpellier, Randle has since represented both Great Britain and England, and scored a sublime try from inside his own half against Canada in January – showing off his pace as an exciting young winger.
