Ben Lane soared to silver in the men's doubles at the 2022 Commonwealth Games alongside Sean Vendy.
Coming from a family with an impressive badminton pedigree, Lane was born to shuttle and first picked up a racket aged two.
Mum Suzanne Louis-Lane won mixed team Commonwealth gold in 1994 while brother Alex is a two-time men’s singles national champion.
Ben has built a badminton history of his own having won mixed team bronze at the Commonwealth Games in 2018 and representing Great Britain at the Tokyo Olympics with Sean Vendy.
Lane’s doubles partnership with Vendy took off in 2021 when they reached a career high world ranking of 18 and secured a spot at the BWF World Tour Finals.
