Ben Cutmore bounced back immediately after finishing fourth at the Commonwealth Games, winning gold and bronze at the European Championships just a two weeks later.

The 20-year-old from Cambridge swapped his hometown for London to train at the London Aquatics Centre alongside the likes of Tom Daley, Matty Lee and Noah Williams.

Dive London’s calibre was clear to see as they made the top five in the men’s platform final at this year's British Championships, Cutmore finishing in fifth, one place behind synchro partner Kyle Kothari.

The duo combined for silver in the men’s platform synchro final before adding bronze in the same event at the Calgary Diving Grand Prix in June and will both represent Team England at a maiden Commonwealth Games.

Team England made a splash in diving with their most successful ever Commonwealth Games in the sport seeing them win six golds and 16 medals in total.
