The men’s 3x3 basketball team made it back to back Commonwealth Games golds in a gripping final as they held off Australia 19-17.

The women’s 3x3 wheelchair basketballers also won gold with a 18-10 victory over Scotland, but the men’s team had to settle for silver as they lost 19-13 to Australia.

James Guy bagged the 49th major swimming medal of his career and has no intention of stopping after a silver in the men’s 200m freestyle. Oliver Morgan and Bruce Dee also medalled.

Jade O’Dowda claimed silver in the women’s heptathlon with a solid display while Georgia Hunter Bell cruised into the women’s 800m final.

What’s on tomorrow?

There are six medals on offer in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome as track cycling and para track cycling start tomorrow, with the men’s and women’s team and sprint pursuits, plus the women’s C4-5 individual pursuit and tandem sprint. 

Emily Campbell looks to win her second Commonwealth gold in the women’s 86kg+ title on the final day of weightlifting, with Andrew Griffiths and Cyrille Tchatchet II also in action.

And Zarnell Hughes is back in action in the men’s 200m semi-finals as there’s another jam-packed day of athletics to look forward too.
