Zoe Smith will be making her third Commonwealth Games appearance on the Gold Coast in April. At Delhi 2010, Zoe made history as she became the first English woman to win a weightlifting medal at the Commonwealth Games, winning bronze in the women's 58kg category.
She followed this feat by winning a spectacular gold medal at Glasgow 2014.
Zoe, from Loughborough, will join the other weightlifters in Team England’s squad to compete at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre.
The weightlifter who also won a gold medal at the Pune 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games is coached by Andrew Callard at Europa Weightlifting Club.
