Sue Davies will finally live out her Commonwealth Games dream at Glasgow 2026.

Davies was an international bowler between 2009 and 2016, narrowly missing out on selection for Delhi 2010.

But the Broadway bowler will make her Team England debut at Glasgow 2026 as a director for para bowler Ron Homer, as they team up with Sally-Ann Lewis-Wall and director Elizabeth Shipley.

Davies first tried bowls in 1995 and has been a regular for Broadway Bowling Club.

A two-time national singles winner, Davies also won silver in the European championships in 2009 and was named Bowls England Player of the Year in 2013.

Beyond the green, Davies has taken on leadership responsibilities in Disability Bowls England, serving as Performance & Team Manager and supporting the development of para and visually impaired bowlers.

Bowls and Para Bowls
It was a hugely successful campaign at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park and some thrilling games saw Team England leave the plush lawn with six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze.
