One of the most decorated players in British basketball, Shanice Beckford-Norton is hoping to take one step up the podium at her second Commonwealth Games.
She was part of the team who claimed Commonwealth silver in the first ever 3x3 basketball competition at Birmingham 2022 as they lost out to Canada in the final.
The Oaklands Wolves guard’s strengths include her speed, relentless energy and enthusiasm, which helped her former team London Lions to four straight WBBL titles.
Her golden touch continued with the Wolves as she captained them to the SLB Cup before helping them secure their first ever SLB league title in 2024/25, while she had played 21 times for Great Britain.

For the first time 3x3 Running Basketball and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball joined the Commonwealth Games roster.
