Scott Lincoln is building to something big – having made his Olympic debut in 2021, the 30-year-old shot put specialist set his sights on the British record, and Commonwealth glory.

He won bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham after an impressive performance in front of a home crowd.

The North Yorkshire native threw a personal best of 21.28m in 2021 before heading to Tokyo, a far cry from the building sites he worked on when not chasing his dream.

Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
