Scott Beattie will contest the 10,000m on his Commonwealth Games debut at Glasgow 2026.
Beattie set a new personal best of 27:23.20 over the distance in March 2026 and will look to build upon that in Glasgow this summer.
The Morpeth Harrier studied at the University of Tulsa before returning to the UK in 2023.
He represented Great Britain at the European Cross Country Championships in 2025, narrowly missing out on a bronze medal following a photo finish.
Beattie carried his strong form into 2026 as he came close to the British 10km road record in January before setting a new personal best on the track in March.
