Ross Wilson first played table tennis on holiday at Center Parcs.
A prodigious junior, in 2011 he was diagnosed with a bone growth condition that took him into the para-sporting ranks.
A year later Wilson was the toast of London 2012 as he won team bronze aged 17.
He also overcame a series of injuries and two years away from the sport to win a team medal of the same colour in Rio and took Paralympic bronze in the team event in Tokyo.
Wilson is also the reigning World champion in men's class 8 and will aim to defend the singles title he won on the sport’s debut at Gold Coast 2018.
