Reece Dunn has shot to the very top of para-swimming having only joined the British set-up in 2019.

Dunn set four world records in his first year as a para swimmer and won three world titles at his home Championships in London.

Having contracted Covid 12 weeks before the Games, the versatile Plymouth star enjoyed a stunning Paralympic debut in Tokyo, winning five medals and three golds.

Diagnosed with autism at the age of 13, Dunn was competing with non-disabled athletes at the time and it was only six years later when he was encouraged to pursue the para sport pathway by his coach.

Dunn tried his hand at diving before settling on swimming as his favoured aquatic discipline.

Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
