Paddy Hewitt

It’s going to be an exciting time for the Hewitt family in Glasgow, with Paddy joining his twin brother, Will, in making his Commonwealth Games debut.

They have both impressed on the international stage over the past year, with Paddy coming through two bouts at the World Cup event Foz do Iguacu, Brazil in April before bowing out in the quarter-finals.

He has won three national titles during his boxing career and his most recent tournament saw him earn a unanimous decision over the host nation’s Haosheng Zhang at the second World Cup event of the year in Guiyang, China, in June.
