Straight to the top is the only way para triathlete Oscar Kelly has soared since taking up the sport five years ago.

From novice to the Great Britain Talent Squad within a year saw the visually impaired athlete become one of England’s top para triathletes by 2019.

At his first World Triathlon Championships in 2021, Kelly finished an impressive sixth place after a crash on the cycling element took him out of podium contention.

Kelly will make his Commonwealth Games debut side by side with guide Charlie Harding at Birmingham 2022.

Away from the sporting world, the 21-year-old studies Sports and Exercise Therapy at Loughborough University and is looking to make his Paralympic debut in the future.
