Olivia Broome claimed a bronze medal on her return to the Commonwealth Games in 2026
The para powerlifter followed up her women’s lightweight silver at Birmingham 2022, behind compatriot Zoe Newson, with another appearance on the podium in Glasgow.
The Chorley lifter also has a pair of Paralympic bronzes to her name, having medalled at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Games.
It is a glittering career that was kickstarted by a talent ID scheme that spotted her talent aged 15.
Broome is also a keen content creator, documenting her life in and out of the gym to her followers on social media while she also spends time gaming to switch off from sport.
