Nat Metcalf returns for her third Commonwealth Games as one of England’s most accomplished netballers.
The wing attack was part of the historic gold medal-winning squad at Gold Coast 2018, and is the only member of that side that will also play at Glasgow 2026.
Metcalf has been a regular member of England sides since, winning World Cup bronze in 2019 and captained Team England at Birmingham 2022.
She was also co-captain for England’s run to the World Cup final in 2023, where they were beaten by Australia.
Metcalf then took time out of the game in 2025 to give birth to her daughter, Miller, and returned to action with Manchester Thunder for the 2026 season.
The wing attack has one Netball Super League title to her name with Thunder, in 2022, alongside back-to-back titles with Wasps in 2017 and 2018. She then spent four seasons playing in Australia with the New South Wales Swifts.
