Birmingham-born Myles Hesson has had a career that has taken him all over the globe, and in 2022 returned home to help England win 3x3 basketball gold in Birmingham. 

The 6ft 6in forward has played basketball in England, France, and Germany and currently plays for Japanese side Toyama Grouses.

It was on much familiar ground that Hesson competed on in Birmingham last summer, striking gold on his event debut - in his home city.
