Morgan Newberry may be coming into Glasgow 2026 as a multiple world medallist but her career is still on the rise heading into a debut Commonwealth Games.
The up-and-coming rider was born with a congenital limb difference in her left arm which sees her compete in the C5 category.
After coming through Dame Sarah Storey’s ŠKODA DSI Cycling Academy, where coach Barney Storey first adapted her handlebars to fit her disability, Newberry has since gone on to have success on the world stage.
She won her first major medal at the Road World Championships in 2024 with silver, before adding a further two podium finishes in 2025.
Track Cycling and Para Track Cycling
Cycling at the Commonwealth Games in the past has taken place across three different disciplines; Track Cycling, Road Cycling and Mountain Bike.
