Maisie Summers-Newton sealed her status as a sporting superstar with Commonwealth Games gold in Birmingham.

Already a two-time Paralympic champion, Summers-Newton stormed to gold last summer to win her first Commonwealth gold medal on her maiden appearance at the showpiece event.

That success added to a growing medal collection for the Northampton star, with her Commonwealth and Paralympic successes sitting alongside multiple World and European titles.

Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
