Maisie Summers-Newton MBE is the hottest property in para-swimming and joins the Team England ranks as a double Paralympic champion.

The teenager will strut her stuff in the SB6 100m breaststroke in Birmingham. She won gold in that event on Paralympic debut in Tokyo, her first major breaststroke medal.

Summers-Newton is world record holder in the SM6 200m individual medley, an event in which she holds Paralympic, world and European titles.

Alongside swimming, the Northampton star is training to become a primary school teacher.
