Lucy Stanhope made her Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast where she joined Team England's other gymnasts to compete at Coomera Indoor Sports Centre. She won silver in the women's team.

The 15-year-old gymnast from Warrington trains at the City of Liverpool Gymnastics Club where she is coached by Claire Hynd. 

She represented Team GB at the 2015 European Youth Olympic Festival and came fourth in the all-around competition at the 2018 British Championships.
