In a dream Paralympic Games in 2024, Louise Fiddes scooped the SB14 100m breaststroke gold and S14 200m freestyle bronze to go alongside two medals from Tokyo in 2021.

The Hertfordshire native also has six World Championship medals to her name across four different meets and three European Championship medals too.

Four years ago at the Commonwealth Games, Fiddes fought her way to bronze in the S14 200m freestyle.

Across her career, she has been successful in breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley, and she even broke the world record in the 200m breaststroke S14 in 2018.

A passion for vintage cars and yoga keeps her mind whirring when not in the pool.

Swimming and Para-Swimming
Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
