Commonwealth Appearances

As a double bronze medallist at the European Junior Championships, Leah Schlosshan has already proved she has bags of talent ahead of her Commonwealth Games debut this summer.

Her burgeoning senior career has taken encouraging steps too, including reaching the final of the women’s 200m freestyle at the 2024 European Championships and finishing second behind Freya Colbert in the same event at the British Championships last summer.

Despite falling an agonising 0.12 seconds short of competing at the Paris Olympics in 2024, the Leeds native travelled to France to cheer on her teammates in the La Defense Arena. Now with a chance for herself at a major multi-sport competition, she will be taking it with both hands.

Swimming and Para-Swimming
Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
