Laura Zialor couldn’t have wished for a better location for her first Commonwealth Games. 

Not only was Birmingham where she studied at university, but it's also where she claimed the British indoor high jump title in February 2022.

Zialor won the competition with a clearance of 1.88m and continued her fine form ahead of the Games.

On her Team England debut, Zialor finished eight overall with a jump of 1.85m.

Her 1.91m outdoor leap in Kenya secured a new personal best in May 2022.

In 2023, Zialor was selected for the U23 European Athletics Championships but was unable to compete due to an injured achillies.
