Britain’s most successful female Olympic athlete, Dame Laura Kenny began cycling as a youngster with older sister Emma.

Sixty-three medals later - 43 of them gold - she now sits atop a list of legendary British athletes.

Kenny captured the attention of the British public at the London 2012 Olympic Games where, aged 20, she won two of her five Olympic golds.

There is sure to be much fanfare surrounding the 30-year-old, who is married to fellow cycling legend Jason Kenny, following her madison gold and team pursuit silver medals at Tokyo 2020.

And she will be looking to add to the Commonwealth gold she won in the women’s points race in Glasgow 2014 as she looks to build towards another Olympics in Paris in two years' time.

Cycling
Cycling at the Commonwealth Games in the past has taken place across three different disciplines; Track Cycling, Road Cycling and Mountain Bike.
