Steeplechaser Kristian Imroth is making his way to a Commonwealth Games debut in Glasgow in fine form.
He was first over the line at the UK Championships in June to win his first British title with a new personal best of 8:18.97, which was also a Championship record.
Having represented Great Britain at the 2019 European U20 Championships, Imroth moved to the United States to compete for Eastern Kentucky University while studying for a Masters in Sports Administration then an MBA in Business Administration.
He also competed in the prestigious NCAA Championships and claimed a bronze medal, just nine days before he became the new British champion.
