Kieran Rollings was the youngest member of the England Lawn Bowls team at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, aged 18.
In the triples event, Rollings, Paul Brown and Mike Robertson finished fourth after an agonising 16-13 defeat to South Africa in the bronze medal match.
Four years on, Rollings is more determined than ever to shine at his second Games and will be competing alongside 2021 DBE National Outdoor Pairs champion Craig Bowler.
Inspired by his grandad who also played bowls, Rollings’s landmark achievement was lifting the Sutton Winson Plate at the British Championships in 2015.
