Commonwealth Appearances

A former jiu-jitsu fighter, Kevin Santos has established himself as one of the fastest T47 runners in the country.

He won World Championship bronze on debut in 2023 over 100m in Paris and was part of a relay squad alongside his hero Jonnie Peacock.

It was vindication for his decision to focus on athletics, having previously tried his hand at martial arts, winning a silver in the British jiu-jitsu Championships.

He missed out on a place at Birmingham 2022, but will now make his Commonwealth Games debut in Glasgow.

Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
