Kelsey Barnes was first drawn to wrestling by seeing her brothers excel in the sport, but now the 62kg star is on her own path to stardom. 

Following victory at the Helsinki Open in 2018, the 20-year-old has held her own at the highest level, finishing tenth at the 2022 Senior U23 European Championships.

That came after she finished eighth at the same event in 2021, a trajectory she will hope to continue in Birmingham.
