Joel Clarke-Khan finished fifth at Birmingham 2022 as he revelled in competing in front of a home crowd.

Worcester-born Clarke-Khan trains at the Alexander Stadium, which was revamped for the 2022 Games and his final height of 2m 22cm was enough for a top-five finish in the men's high jump.

Coached by Olympic silver medallist Robbie Grabarz, Clarke-Khan is a three-time British champion, sealing his third title in 2023.
