Home city hero Joe Fraser overcame mountains to win three golds at Birmingham 2022.
Fraser was born with six fingers on each hand before having the additional digits removed as a baby.
He discovered flips aged five, forcing his mother to pack him off to gymnastics to learn how to do it properly.
At Birmingham 2022, the artistic gymnast roared to gold in the team all-around, pommel horse and parallel bars, fighting off an injury the entire competition.
Injuring his ankle just two weeks before the Games, Fraser pushed through to compete on four apparatus and help Team England successfully defend their team title,
Fraser won World Championship gold on the parallel bars in 2019, the first and only Brit to do so on that apparatus, before finishing fourth at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the team event.
Shoulder surgery immediately followed his trip to Japan and Fraser showed he was back fit and firing for his hometown Games with gold on the horizontal bar at the 2022 Baku World Cup.
