Sprint star Jodie Williams had an unprecedented junior career – the 28-year-old went five years unbeaten between 2005 and 2010, winning 151 races including doing the 100m and 200m double at the 2009 Youth World Championships.
Senior success took a little longer to materialise, but 2014 was a bumper year for her first senior medals.
Williams took home bronze and silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, before standing on the top step at the European Championships as part of the 4x100m relay team.
A move up to the 400m saw Williams claim bronze at the European Indoors last year before finishing sixth in the Olympic final and it was at the same distance that she added Commonwealth bronze at Birmingham 2022, with a season's best time of 51.26s.
