Rising star Jayda Pechová is set for her Commonwealth Games debut at Glasgow 2026. The defender has shone for Nottingham Forest in the Netball Super League over the past two seasons, and was named NSL Young Player of the Year in 2025.
Pechová made her Super League debut aged 17 for London Pulse, before representing Team Bath alongside her studies at the University of Bath.
She completed a degree in sports management in 2026, writing her dissertation on the professionalisation of netball.
Pechová’s talent has also been recognised on the international stage, where she made her senior debut in 2023.
She has also represented England at Under-19 and Under-21 level, most recently winning Netball World Youth Cup bronze in 2025.

Defending champions England finished fourth overall at Birmingham 2022 after falling to Australia in the semi-final and then New Zealand in the bronze medal match.
