Jamie Ingram might stand out for his distinctive hairstyle out of the water, but he stood out as much in it at Birmingham 2022 as he earned a silver medal in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay.

Ingram often sports a distinctive mohican but did his talking with his swim cap on in Birmingham as part of the team that took second behind Australia.

The City of Manchester swimmer also made it to the final of the men's 100m butterfly, but missed out on the podium despite his time of 52.33 eclipsing the personal best he posted at the British Swimming Championships in Sheffield. in April 2022

His time of 52.46 in the Steel City was enough to claim bronze and pave the way to Birmingham.

It built on previous success at the British Universities and Colleges Championships, where Ingram clinched a gold & a silver in the 100m freestyle and butterfly.
