Jake Jarman became the first English male gymnast to win four gold medals at a Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

In his first major senior championships, Jarman rocketed to Team England fame with victory in the team all-around, individual all-around, floor and vault.

From day one in Birmingham, the gymnast was on fire and has since cemented himself on the world stage as the 'one-to-beat'.

Jarman was named as a reserve for the Olympics last summer, aged just 19, and although he did not get to represent his country out in Tokyo, it shows the trajectory the young gymnast was on.

His response to that was to win two titles in the 2022 British Championships in March, winning gold medals on both the floor and vault events.
